Life?

To many, to live is to laugh, love, express. These people believe they have found their meaning, to me, when I think of my meaning it's like staring at white noise. I can see something forming but I don't quite know what it is. Then I start thinking deeply about life in general. Does anyone else wonder if what we do is irrelevant and insignificant? Depending on what you believe, this may just be a path leading up to a glorious life after death. Though, I have a question to ask: why go through such a hard time in this life just to reach a nirvana? Why can't the nirvana be this one? The other option I think about is: past lives. If we do have past lives, we don't remember them; so does what we do in this life become irrelevant and insignificant because once we pass on, anything we've done will be forgotten? This is a tricky subject. What about love? Can one really live life solely on love? How does one know they have obtained love? I believed I obtained it once. But that's gone now, at least for her. Maybe it's just remaining in my thoughts for one reason: I miss her. I hope I can soon figure out why I'm here. Who put us here, what we all need to do to obtain our nirvana. I have not lost hope. I never will, I just like to think.
